G'day El |Condor, we would love to be planning our next Camino. We would probably do the same pilgrimage with different stopping points. But, as we are full time teachers in Australia, it is difficult to get enough leave from work to begin another pilgrimage. So we hope to go again in a couple of years, sadly enough. Enjoy your new new journey next May. We will be there in spirit. Buen Camino.

My husband and I have just finished walking 200K of the Camino Frances from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port to Najera. Over the next several days I will post my blog of our experiences. Here is my first blog post:

Hey Parksville - Very nice first posting of your blog. I look forward to reading more. I, too, blogged. I find that it is now one of my best souvenirs of the Camino as well as the perfect vehicle for sharing the experience with family and friends back home. I hope you and your husband have plans on picking up in Najara and continuing the Francés into Santiago.

Thanks, Willy. Absolutely! We plan to walk from Najera to Santiago in September 2017, for my husband's 70th birthday! Thanks for reading, and for commenting!

We just completed our Camino, starting August 31, 2017 in St. Jean PdP and going all the way to Finnesterre on October 14, 2017. Our pictures and blog posts are at pilgrims4blog.wordpress.com. We had many people following our journey is why we did the blog. But, I have discovered that it is the only way that I can keep anything straight because I sure would not be able to remember all that happened in the right locations. Buen Camino.

Hey Mark - My wife and I really enjoyed the Inglés and then on into Finisterre. It worked out well for us to enjoy almost a full weekend in Santiago after the Inglés and before heading west to the coast. Both sections are very pleasant walks. As with any Camino, great people, beautiful scenery, and tasty food! If you get the chance the tortilla español at Casa Miranda in Betanzos is heavenly! So, enjoy! Buen Camino!

Great blog. I've recently completed the CF and found it tough completing my blog. Walking 8+ hrs, then stretching, moisturising, victualing, sleeping (arghhh) didn't leave much time or energy for blogging. Here it is anyway, the pictures will bring back memories......santiagoorbust454637950.wordpress.com
    Buen Camino!!

Richard I thoroughly enjoyed your lovely blog! You had quite the weather extremes. For future reference, I think I shall not go in early April . Great job with your amazing experience!

Thanks for Kathy's & your blog, Bryan. It was one of the most straightforward logs I've read and gave a wonderful sense of what it's like to do the full Camino Frances. Buen Camino!

You are very welcome. The interesting part about the blog is some of the information that the blog site provides to us, including what countries the viewers come from, how many viewers, how many views, etc. So for us it is an interesting record of our experience and hopefully for others it helps people learn from what we went through. Finally, it provides a means for the many we met on the Camino to contact us.

    Buen Camino.

Richard, I just read your blog and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Blues Brothers quote at the beginning was absolutely great and set the tone. Well Done!
