I am having the 2 certificates from my Camino Frances framed and wanted to check the English translation for the Document that you do not pay for and I think that it is the one in Latin.

Can anybody confirm that this link shows the correct translation?

    Thank you

    Hi Yorkie
My O level Latin days were a long time ago, but I think the translation is pretty accurate. However, the wording of the Compostela itself has changed since the version in the translation. In the new version 15 words have been inserted after 'hoc sacratissimum templum' - these words specify that the journey has been completed on foot or horseback for the last hundred kilometres or by bike for the last two hundred.
    Hope this helps.

Gerry- we did the same thing, but added the stamped passport as well. Plenty of great questions come from this, and a lot of interest for many to perhaps try it themselves one day.
