    Hello.
I am returning to the Camino Frances next May-ish 2016. I will be starting in Logrono. I am Canadian from the GTA/Barrie. Looking for female walker(s) or a group. Anyone?

My wife and I will probably start from SJPP in mid April and walk through May. Our plans are very tentative at this point, but we may be on the trail at the same time. We are from the U.S., California, near San Francisco.

Thanks for letting me know @ThirstyEric - mid-April to May sounds compatible - I will probably finalize my plans January-ish! Would you consider keeping me posted? And I will do the same. Thanks again for letting me know!

@SimLin, I expect to be active on this forum until we go, so I will keep you updated. My wife and I are probably going to be taking it easy on the Camino, with shorter stages and some rest days in interesting towns and cities. We are trying not to set too many expectations for ourselves, and giving ourselves permission to take more time and adapt to whatever comes along. What is your walking style?

When I was there this past May, I walked anywhere from 4-6 hours depending on my destination. My purpose is to enjoy the journey and allow myself some time to take photos [I love to take photos], go in to buildings in the towns in between - have lunch or enjoy a cup of coffee etc... should I be able to connect with you and your wife, I am sure we can adjust to each other's paces. And, if we don't "jive" that's okay too right? I am by nature an introvert and yet once I am comfortable, I enjoy good conversation. Thanks for keeping in touch. Till soon!

An aside here, I don't want to derail this thread. But it looks like there has been a calendar developed for this forum software, something that I had in the last one. If it works well it will be active by the end of Sep, I am hoping it will help with the above issue of find walking partners.

Hi @Oonagh - Logrono is about about 7 days walk from SJPdP or the usual beginning of the Camino Frances! Always nice to hear from fellow Canadians...

Our goal is to enjoy the journey as well. And I'm sure we will be stopping of for coffee and snacks too! If we are able to meet up, we'd probably be compatible walkers. And I agree, if it doesn't work out, that's fine too. It's a long way off for now, so let's keep in touch and see how the timing works out.

Hi everyone. My sister and I will be doing our first walk in May too! Probably mid May as I have to be in Ikaria (a Greek island) by the 20th of June. We are from the Gold Coast in Australia. My (very well travelled) cousins did the walk last year and are still raving about how great it was. They say it was the best and cheapest holiday they have ever had!
