W ell 3 days to go before we leave Australia to start our epic 6 week walk of the Camino de Santiago. Was a wonderful feeling finishing work today and saying to everybody, see you at the end of June. Super excited, have repacked numerous times and will probably do so again before Saturday. The weather will be what it will be and we will take each day as it comes. Have trained as much as we could over the last 4-5 months so will soon find out if it was enough or the right kind.!!!
Thanks to all the information I have read on this site. It has been very useful.

Buen camino!! I think you are fine trained for Camino. In any case, you have to listen your body, and go free of any stress of days or daily kilometers. I'm sure it will be great time! I was totally untrained :-D (or - too lazy for training!!! ) Yes, it was crazy from me to do camino, but i did it! It was absolutely fantastic time.

    Hi 4grandkids

Welcome . Im sure you will have a wonderful time and great pilgrimage experience. As Mike said "just go & follow your soul ". You will meet & make a lot of camino friends on your pilgrimage to Santiago. Please keep in touch and let us know where you are and how your doing through the camino forum . I met 2 Aussies from Brisbane at Cizur Menor and they travelled with me and 3 others all the way to Santiago .What a great outback humour and quick witted.

    Carpe Diem & Buen Camino.

Hi everyone. We will arrive in Barcelona and immediately take the train to Pamplona. Is it cheaper to but train tickets ahead of time (ie today) or on the day of travel in May? None of the train sites, including Renfe, can help me here.
    Thanks! C
