    Hi,

just in case anyone was wondering the forum was down today for some maintenance.

The server had become slow, so the hosting company moved everything over to a new server.

Just to keep everyone in the loop.

It should also be faster using the forum, with fewer database errors and interruptions. There will be some unfortunately - that is down to the software being fairly old - I am looking at new software but it won't be till the New Year sometime - as I have a little one due during the next week or so.

The big event will happen during the next week or so, weighting in at 3 or 4 kg, so they tell me...

Congratulations Leslie, most particularly on your 'big event'. Hoping that it is an uneventful and thoroughly delightful occasion.

    Hi Leslie,
Congratulations to you and your wife. Can we expect to see you back on the Camino in about 20 years time?
    Regards,
    Sean,
    Dublin
P.S. I will make you a walking stick, not a hiking stick for your return.

Thanks. I have not wanted to get into talking much about it until he is here, shortly.

Yes, we both understand there will be big changes, but we are happily blissful and ignorant at this moment.

Oddly, I am have conversations about the Portuguese Route next year, it would be by bike through - time... However it is dependant on me finishing the current ebook on the French Way - going well but slowly.

The new layout looks good, and the link which was sent to me worked fine. Had slight bit of trouble with login and password, so I just sent off for a new password, then it worked perfectly. Thanks for keeping this forum going Leslie and hope it continues to grow.
