Does anybody have an recommendations for rubbing at the base of your back?
What do you mean Yorkie? Is the pack rubbing?
I should have expanded. The pack is rubbing on one side only and that is the bottom left hand side and just above my kidney
Hmm. I am a long way from expert - is the pack adjustable? The 33 had different back lengths - and the key was getting the waist strap to sit squarely on the hip bone. Other than that, could it be the loading of the pack? I'd check it at the shop, they may have some insight.
Am going to go back and see if they can show me how to adjust, there are so many straps that I am having to get used to
Appreciate the post
Hm, I thought a kidney was on the right side. Whatever: when you fix your backpack with the weight well distributed upon your hips, leaving hardly any from your shoulders, there should not be any interference with kidneys or liver or whatever is inside your body.
If it doesn't work, go and see a physician before you get into real problems.
Correct, I don't know my Left from Right nowadays after too much time in the sun
Thanks for the advice, I will do another 30k tomorrow and see how I go
You'll be OK: where there's a will, there's a way But if I was you, with your particular health history, I suppose that I would go much slower and absorb as much as possible the surroundings of where I walk. This may be nature in the open stretches, art and culture in the various larger towns, and the camaraderie at the places where one stays and can relax at the end of each day. If possible one shouldn't be in a hurry
I will be letting my journey go where it needs to go and thank you for your words
