This is not a big deal, and I understand that this site has to paid for somehow, but I just paid to get no advertisements for life and I am still getting them. Mostly I paid the money to help the site, but it would be nice to have the ads gone.

I love this site and use it quite often, it really is a great source of information and community. I do not want my minor complaint above to reflect badly on this site in anyway, it is mostly just curiosity on my part.

What it means is I made a mess of the settings after the last software update.

Thanks for pointing this out, I will do my best to fix tomorrow.

It should mean no Google ads :)

@stevelm1 thanks again for pointing this out.

You should not see any ads in the forum apart for the one for my book on the right sidebar.

If they ever appear again, just let me know - letting me know really helps as things get missed sometimes and its great when someone points them out.

Anyone one else having the same problem let me know here or by PM.

To be honest Leslie – I hardly notice the adverts – Maybe I have tuned my brain into just reading the things that actually interest me ;-)

However – You did say to let you know if they are still appearing and I am afraid that they are – Currently there is an advert banner for Marriott Hotels appearing above the title of this thread.

    Hope the info helps

    Best Regards

    Rob

Leslie, they are gone for me thanks.

Rob, you must donate to the site to get rid of the ads.

I shouldn't worry about 'messing up' Leslie....you do a fantastic job and, as I am well aware from my Australian Pilgrims on the Camino de.......facebook group, things often slip through the cracks - whatever sort of forum one runs, there is always a LOT of work......Cheers.
